We will be covering stonework from the Historic Bucks County in Pennsylvania. Some items may be new, but definitly patterned from the past.
I soon discover that I love the creativity, the skill and the art of working with stone. I hope you will come to share these appreciations with me. You may even get hooked on stonework, like I did!
A project can be an exciting thing for me ... to conceive, plan and create. It's both challenging and rewarding. Of course, these things always work together. And a finished project is always prominent -- a creative work you can look at in satisfaction.
So .... STONEWORK MONTHLY won't be just a how-to newsletter that relates only to mechanics. But go beyond the mechanical to the creative ... from the labor to the enlightenment ..... from the rock to the art. We'll build these stonework creations together with illustrations that show you what we're talking about. Over time, you will compile a complete book on stonemasonry, a reference guide for the years, and to pass on. And you'll be enjoying the art and craft of putting together your own structures in the place where you live.
Here are a few samples of what we will cover and how it will be written, just to see if it's really for you.
