Here is photo of my wedge posed with a TR4 and a TR6 belonging to a couple of fellow Triumph club members showing off our awards at the Fallfest Show hosted by Moss Motors at their east coast warehouse. As you can see red cars do attract the most attention and it also shows that with some hard work that a TR7 can win a trophy at a popular vote show. These cars pictured here were driven 200 mile round trip to this event. |

The total interior was replaced with a kit from Victoria British. The steering wheel is a Moto-lita wheel similar to the anniversary edition wheel originally installed. The speakers are made by Alpine, stereo is a Sony CD unit. |

I purchased my TR7 in the summer of 1996 as a driver to use while my TR3A underwent restoration. The body was rust free but it was in need of paint, interior and various mechanical work. Investigation showed that the car was an anniversary edition model. The original stereo was gone but the other anniversary options were present. The car was driven until a blown head gasket took it off the road. While the engine was out and being rebuilt the body was resprayed in the original carmine red color ,including the engine compartment. The engine was reinstalled along with a set of down draft Webers, an Anza exhaust header , a Crane electronic ignition and a upgraded radiator. The interior was replaced during the winter of 96\97. Both the suspension and brakes were renewed and upgraded. The factory air conditioning was repaired and has been working great ever since. All the original emission equipment still in place and operational although the air pump was replaced with a rebuilt unit after a bearing failure. I run two different tire/wheel setups depending on conditions. One set is 195-60x14 on Revolution wheels the other 205-60x13 on Minilights. |
