Some guys they just give up living
And start dying little by little, piece by piece

And go racin' in the street.

1987 Buick Grand National

One of the fastest and highest-tech cars to roll out of Detroit in the 1980s was the Buick Grand National. This car is a highly effective hybrid of classic 60s musclecar and fuel-injected, computer controlled 90s technorocket. The all-black exterior and bulging hood are reminiscent of Darth Vader and the turbocharged 3.8 V6 has more than enough horsepower to anihilate small planets in addition to the rear tires.

1966 Oldsmobile F-85

This Olds started out as a sedate L6-250 car that I bought as an everyday ride during my last year of college in 1986. as you can see, I've been working on it a little over the last couple of years. A healthy 455 (462, really, but who's counting) V8 now sits between the fenders and provides enough torque to seriously abuse the blacktop at will.
