This is an advertising chisel by Stanley from the SH era. It is an everlasting chisel

that has been cut lengthwise through the handle to show it's internal construction.

A. This is the steel head of the handle. Part A and E is a one part steel shaft

from the head to the blade tip.

B. Leather washer.

C. Brass ring.

D. Hickory handle

F. This is a steel ring compressed onto the chisel's steel shaft.
