PNGAS was established as a non-profit membership association for the support and benefit of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Its purposes are:
  • To support its officer and enlisted members throughout the Commonwealth;
  • To promote and perpetuate its efficient functioning and organization;
  • To advocate policies for the advancement and well being of its members;
  • To foster and improve the Guard as an organized, federally-recognized militia of the Commonwealth and the United States;
  • To foster cooperation and joint programs for the Guard officers and enlisted personnel through NGAPA and PNGEA.

The Pennsylvania National Guard Associations (PNGAS), comprised of the National Guard Association of Pennsylvania (NGAPA) and the Pennsylvania National Guard Enlisted Association (PNGEA), represents the men and women of the Pennsylvania Army and Air National Guard. The organization understands the fundamental place the Guard has in the defense of the nation and in support of community and Commonwealth.
