A: 
    There is, the server just trusts that you are
    who you say you are.  There are plans to fix this.
  
Q:  Why not just use the same command line switches as RCS?
A:  
    The descision was made not to use the switches from
    a specific source control system, but instead to abstract
    them so any underlying source control system could be used
    to perform the repository functionality.
