In the New Testament
In the New Testament writings,
- things which have an "end" and
- things which are "last" are distinguished by a number of
different Greek words.
As in Daniel's prophecy, there is a correspondance of things with the
nation's three "ends," and with its full "finish."
As "End" we find three words:

The word lists for eskatos, and for hustereo and husteron
are longer; particularly the list for eskatos, since it deals with the
eschatology of all Biblical purpose.

Opsis, No. 3799, as appearance, face, countenance appears

The root of opsis is No. 3700, optomai,to see; i.e.,
that which is seen by sight of the eye.
