Many of the Internet web sites containing material about The Revelation of Jesus Christ are very glitzy, with impressive charts and colorful graphics to dazzle the eyes! You won't find any such things here, for they distract from study, and many times, convey wrong ideas. Those commentaries and interpretations interpret the prophecy of the book according to the author's religious bias, according to the author's perspective - believer, agnostic, or atheist.
In view, those interpretations are either preterit, futurist or continuous historical, or a combination of these views.
The majority view is "continuous historicist" - the view which says
the 1,260 days of Daniel and the 1,260 days
of The Revelation are actually not days - but
are years - 1,260 Although this work may not be viewed as so very much different from
others which have gone before - only a thorough study of the prophecy
by you, the reader, will determine what bias, if any; or error from the
first principles of the faith in Jesus Christ may be present in this work.
It is said that even "the devil" can quote the Holy Scriptures, but it
is also known that "the devil" can also quote copiously from history books,
as well as other books, too, that are supposedly based upon the Holy Scriptures.
This study represents the prophecy's own structure - at the most simple
level of understanding of the prophecy - without the introduction of common
history records and without unwarranted comments about any specific Christian
religious denomination.
The Revelation, it appears, is a rather straightforward conveyance
of the LORD's mind -- according to all the things which have been written
in His Word in the past, in both the New Testament and in the Old Testament
writings -- concerning the second appearance of Jesus Christ.
The index
to this study - i.e., the Table of Contents to Israel's Judgment; Jerusalem's
Glory - illustrates this straightforward conveyance of the LORD's Word
quite well! The prophecy concerns God's predicted "day" of judgment
which has been appointed to the Son of God as his end time work; and also
reveals the significant events of the day of vengeance, Isaiah
61:2; (Luke 4:16-21); Isaiah 34:8 and 35:4, which God, the Father, has
declared that He will do upon the nations in order to establish the restoration
of the kingdom to Israel, and to put it under the rule of His son.
These things we NOW must daily watch for...
This work is, nevertheless, a simplistic study of the Revelation's
words.
No great effort to tie its signs together with its Old Testament roots
was attempted since many of these Old Testament references -- "701 Quotations
in the Apocalypse" -- are already known by the diligent Bible reader, and
are already in his store of knowledge for use. So, this latitude is left
as a field for the reader to work in! The reader therefore can interpret
the study according to his own Bible and personal bias. He may examine
his own understanding by judging whether any sect of popular Christianity
has a good understanding of any of the things written about in The Revelation,
or whether the Holy Scriptures show a different picture of the events of
these "last days."
One thing is certain. At the return of Jesus Christ, there
will only be one permitted form of acceptable worship of the Almighty God;
only one form of "teaching" to follow. Every form of idolatrous worship
will be forbidden and abolished.
The established orthodox religions - Islam; Judaism; and Christianity,
with all their variant dogmas - shall undergo a great reformation.
The prophecy of The Revelation of Jesus Christ shows exactly how
the next "great reformation" in religion will come about when the kingdom
of God is re-established upon the promised land of Israel.
Revelation 14:6 declares that the forth-coming gospel of the coming
age is to be declared to the whole world prior to the final "hour of
His judgment."
NOW, "TODAY," is the time to prepare for that hour, so that
you may not come under the judgment of God THEN... There is
a reason why "the many are called, but the few are chosen" to become rulers
with Christ in the coming kingdom of God on earth. For this reason I recommend
that every person who reads this page will also read the other 22 "pages"
of the study - so that a good understanding of the prophecy is developed
before the "great and dreadful" day of the LORD comes.

Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall
rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
- Isaiah 40:10:
For the Lord GOD has not yet come...
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say
ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward
is with him, and his work before him.
- Isaiah 62:11:
...nor has salvation yet come to the daughter of Zion. Therefore, this study is designed to address "TODAY,"
the time after the re-appearance in May of 1948 of the historic,
natural Israel as a nation in the Middle East. It addresses the time
before the promised restoration of the kingdom of God appears
in that promised Land again.
This study which I have done addresses the reality of "today."
Of the date when, (per Acts 1:6-7), that promised
kingdom will be restored, no man knows the precise day or hour. The yet expected event of the Lord's revelation to Israel
and the judgment of his servants which he has been given to execute has
not yet happened. It is neither a "passed" nor a "past" event! The
judgment upon all the nations (which are presently adversaries to Israel,
[according to O.T. prophecies]) has NOT happened yet either! Nor
has the world yet been judged for its sin.
From these simple facts the reader may judge what method of interpretation
of the book of Revelation is a reasonable method for understanding the
prophecy of the Lord's apocalypse.
