Open the "Edit" menu, choose "Preferences".

Under "Mail & Newsgroups", choose "Mail Servers".
Your "Outgoing mail server" should be set to mail.voicenet.com.
Don't forget to put your user name in the "Outgoing mail server user name" field.
If you have an existing "Incoming Mail Server" (popmail.voicenet.com), click it and then click edit. If you have nothing listed in "Incoming Mail Servers", click new.

"Server Name" should be set to imap.voicenet.com
"Server Type" Should be set to IMAP server.
"User Name" should be set to your user name.
Select the "Advanced" tab.

"Public Namespace" has to be set to " INBOX. ". Don't forget the period after INBOX.
"Public" should be set to " shared. ". Don't forget the period after shared.
Uncheck "Show only subscribed folders".
Check "Allow server to override these namespaces".
Click "Ok".

Click "Ok".

Thats it! Netscape Messenger should now be configured for mail filtering.
