The installation telephonenumber and address are the telephone number and address where DSL willbeinstalled.Ifyou have an automated telephone system (such as PBX) please use a telephone number other than your main number (such as your fax line.) Voicenet DSL uses line-sharing technology and, unlike dialup, will not "tie up" the phone line you select to install service on.
DSL is a "best-effort" service. Voicenet will consider a downstream speed of between 144kps and 608kps a successful, "best effort" install. Based upon the individual's phone line,

and the CLEC's network, the ability to burst at speeds

768kps, 1.5Mbps or 7.1Mbps is available with Voicenet DSL, regardless of the speed at install.
