Yes. Compose a message using your e-mail program or Voicenet's WebMail. Address and send the message to your friend's screen name @aol.com.

Can I use Instant Messaging?
Voicenet Internet access is compatible with AOL Instant Messenger. You can download AOL Instant Messenger for free from the AOL Web site. Once installed, you can continue to send and receive messages from the individuals on your Buddy List.

How much does Voicenet dial-up Internet access cost?
Unlimited 56K access is as low as $14.95 per month (when you pay for two years in advance.) Pre-pay one year and access is just $16.95 per month. Month-to-month payment for dial-up access is only $19.95 per month.

How much Usenet (Newsgroup) transfer am I allowed each month?
When connected through your Voicenet conection, Usenet download transfer from Voicenet's Usenet servers is unlimited (subject to the terms of use defined in Voicenet's Services Agreement .) When connected to Voicenet's Usenet servers through a non-Voicenet internet access connection , download transfer is limited to 5GB per month.
