Ok, so it's really nerdy to have a webpage for my car.
I mean, she's a fairly ordinary production sports coupe from Saturn. But I'm really fond of her.
Her name is "Gay Deceiver" after a car/aircraft/spaceship/time
machine from Heinlien's Number of the Beast. Some of my on-line
friends haven't seen her, so I'm putting up a few images here.
Yeah, this is me the day I picked up the car. Saturn has a
delighful little ceremony they do on "the launch pad"...a marvelous
bit of marketing psychology they do in which all the high-margin stuff they
sell you with the car gets pitched while you are sitting right next to
the car, ready to drive it right out of this little glass garage that
makes you feel like you're in the shuttlecraft bay of the Enterprise or something..
